Our Fully-Loaded Breakfast...

Our country breakfasts will have you ready to face your day of fishing, swimming, exploring, sight seeing or even for doing nothing at all! It starts with freshly baked croissants or muffins or cinnamon buns!

For the health conscious We have a selection of fruit juices and cold cereals, or you can try our famous Timberlane hot multi grain cereal. New! You can now have yogurt with fresh seasonal fruit for a yummy start.

For all our Guests You have your choice of eggs cooked-to-order served with bacon or sausage, home-fries, and toast.  We also have a western omlette with or without cheese. Or you can have buttermilk pancakes with bacon or sausage, served with butter and real Manitoulin maple syrup made right here at Timberlane.  Or have both! 

Be sure to try our homemade Timberlane crab apple jelly or home-made maple syrup!  To drink, we have orange, apple, grapefruit and V8 juice, along with white or chocolate milk. We also make sure we have lots of freshly brewed coffee ready for you or a selection of herbal teas if you prefer.  Our friendly staff will be sure to make your morning a good one!
 

Our Farm House Country Home-Cooked Dinners 

On Saturday, we have a barbeque down on the breakwater.  We start with a happy hour, so you can get to know your fellow guests if you like.  Then we grill up some great steaks just the way you like, aged beef that melts in your mouth.   Along with your steak, you can choose from baked potatoes with all the trimmings, caesar salad, pasta salad, and Betty’s (our chef) famous baked beans.  We always get rave reviews!  For dessert, we have chocolate cake made from scratch, along with Farquar’s (Manitoulin's local creamery)vanilla ice-cream. 

Every Sunday is Thanksgiving at Timberlane.  Start off your meal with fresh baked bread, and garden salad picked right from local Manitoulin gardens.  Then out comes the roasted turkey, mashed potatoes and fresh steamed peas.  Don’t forget to try the old family recipe stuffing.  Dessert is Timberlane Cranberry Cheesecake with chocolate drizzle.

Monday Night we feature baked pork chops done in a creamy tomato gravy. Tender and full of flavor. You start with home made vegetable soup, then comes the main course along with wild and long grain rice, seasonal vegetables and fresh baked rhubarb pie for dessert.

Tuesday Night is pasta night. We feature a different creation every week, sometimes lasagna or baked capalletti or fettuccine alfredo. Its always good and starts with a fresh caesar salad and comes with homemade garlic cheese bread. Dessert is chefs choice as well, so something different each week.

Wednesday Night is baked chicken. Beautifully seasoned and baked until tender, the chicken is absolutely delicious. It starts with our chefs fabulous turkey and wild rice soup, then the main course along with steamed potatoes, fresh seasonal vegetables and the best bumble berry pie ever for dessert - it gets rave reviews!

Thursday Night is our fabulous pot roast with oven roasted herb potatoes, gravy and honey carrots. Don't miss out on the strawberry shortcake for dessert! The meal starts with a garden salad and fresh baked bread!

Friday Night is fresh caught grilled whitefish. The meal starts with the best new england clam chowder you've ever had, then the main course, with home cut french fries and coleslaw (an old family recipe). Homemade apple pie for dessert! We get the fish from a well established Island business - Purvis Fisheries, which has been operating since the 1800's by the same family! They bring back fish daily from Lake Huron and deliver it right to our door.

All our entrees start with a small appetizer that is waiting for you when you sit down. We are not licensed, but you are welcome to bring your own bottle of wine to dinner (or whichever drink you prefer). We serve lemonade, ice tea, milk and ice water.

so you can sample our island's bounty.

Our Honey is made right here on Lake Manitou by Isle Away.
Our Maple syrup
and crabapple jelly are made the old fashioned way each spring here at Timberlane.
Our salads, vegetables, and most fresh berries are grown by local producers.
Our whitefish is caught fresh in Lake Huron by Purvis Fisheries.
Our dishes are made from recipes that have been handed down each generation by island families.
